Sierra propshaft bolts again

Hi all

Can anyone put me in touch with a supplier of these - had them on order from my local ford garage in stoke for 2 months (they were waiting for a shipment from germany) and now they say they cant get them anymore. Tried ringing other dealers but still cant find one who can get them.

I noticed there are 4 extra holes on the diff - can I not just use very strong nuts and bolts through these to hold the prop on instead?

Appreciate any ideas - this issue is really holding up my build now

cheers

Paul

just go to a normal nut and bolt supplier (use www.yell.co.uk to find one) and get some that fit.

errm, can't remember what size they are, sorry, but if you've got some, take them with you.

If that doesn't work look for brocol in coventry, phone them up, say you're rebuilding a Westfield and want the bolts that go from the diff to the propshaft. They should be able to help. If they won't post contact me with the information and i'll buy them and we can organise postage.

(this last paragraph is cleverly worded, so don't deviate from what i've said, i can't explain why).

I went to local stockist first for mine and got some M10 x 1.0 8.8's. As these were lower rating than OEM fit i went to dealer and managed to get the right ones but it did take them a few weeks and they reported then that stocks were getting low.

If i can find the 8.8's i bought you are welcome to them. Send me U2U if interested and bug the hell out of me! My memory is crap!! I hope you arent in major hurry as ill have to remember where i put them.

Just a follow up to this in case anyone else has the same trouble getting them.

The only place I could find that can get hold of them and even better, has them in stock is Burton Power - £6.50 inc P&P

Good to know they are still available but £6.50!!! thats expensive for 4 little bolts. iirc i only paid £1 each from the dealer and i thought that was a rip off.

Ive got 4 8.8's going spare if anyone interested.

Its not too bad - the £6.50 is for all 4 including post and packing. I'm just glad I've finally got some its really held up my build - I would have paid double that!
