Xflow fuel pump - can I use it?
Are there any reasons not to use the OE mechanical fuel pump fitted to my crossflow. It clears my R tube (just) so I would like to retain it unless
someone can offer any suggestions to why an electric pump would be better?
Cheers
Gary

Am running a 1700xflow on the mechanical pump at the mo on twin 40's and havent had any fuel delivery issues, that said, my formula for
crossflow needs a leccy pump so am using a facet red top.
Gues its really down to the spec but unless its something pretty juicy i think you would be ok.

I use the mechanical pump on my 1660cc x-flow, feeding a Weber DGV32/36.
No problems at all!

Ford Cortina AC mechanical fit was standard fit feeding twin 40DCOEs on the Lotus Elan 126 bhp.
I suspect it was also fitted to the original RS1600 & RS1800
