Zetec Flywheels?
I have a 2.0 Zetec and I would like fit an 1800 zetec flywheel, will it work on the 2.0 manual crank position sensor, or are the 2.0 and 1.8 CPS
different?
I could fit my 1800CVH flywheel but I'd rather not..............any other good lightweight flywheel options?

Hi Dave
AFAIK the flywheels will have the same pickup etc.
I used the CVH flywheel as it can be lightened much more than the Zetec. I have the crank sensor mounted on the front pulley instead - very easy to
setup with the Emerald system.
There are some photos in my archive.

Yes the flywheels use the same sensor.

Wyn,
Do you know the weight of your CVH flywheel when lightened?

Sorry Dave
I didn't weigh and I'm not taking it out now!
The guy who machined it assures me it is lighter than you can get the standard Zetec. I could probably ask him as he was building another engine with
the same flywheel- that was a year ago though!
