Fuel - One way valve?
Hi,
Anyone know where I can get a one way valve to use as a vent on my fuel tank. Demon Tweeks want £30 but I am sure there must be something out there
that will be suitable and able to be used with fuel?
Thanks

I think I have read somewhere on here about people using bicycle tyre valves

I'd be worried about the petrol fumes rotting the rubber...
Try Think Auto - they supply the valves to everyone else anyway! Also a good place to get fuel filler caps, and
anything else with the Mocal label.
Then notice the price difference with the other suppliers...
rgds,
David

Thanks there seems to be a few options with them.
£13.08 is a lot cheaper than DT's.

I got one from a show, about 8 pounds - but the DT one a mate got looked a little nicer.

Up the B pillar in a Metro, in the tank breather. It's a small plastic valve in the line that goes up and then back down underneath.

Pinch the one way valve out of a brake servo ! its free and will not rot with fumes.
