Zetec, Duratec, DOHC size

Can anyone give tell me the dimensions of the FWD varients of these engines? i.e. hight difference from lowest to highest points. width, length?

And which would you recommend? Bearing in mind price and finding a donor are going to be major issues.

Forgot to say I'd need the dimensions including the std gearbox for these engines.

Strider . both zetec and dohc engines are easy to find infact the dohc I took out of the donor for you, I gave away complete with loom.Zetecs can be had for £50 or less , unless your after a 2l.

As for the box ,both type 9 and mt75 boxes will fit the zetec both can be had for less than £30.

The mt75 box isnt small but will fit a book chassis....see pic

I havnt got dimensions to hand .Why do you want to know dimensions of a fwd box?

regards warren

Since the accident I'm having a few new ideas I'm investogating Wasa. Am toying with the idea of possibly a middy or a front wheel drive car. Just toying with ideas until the cheque from Mr Insurance turns up...... STILL haven't bloody had it yet!

I don't think the DOHC engine came in FWD format, but it was the base for the front drive RS2000 16v engine.
