R1 fuel pump
I am fitting R1 carbs and have got a R1 fuel pump, should i fit the pump in the engine bay near the carbs or in the back near the fuel tank. Sorry
should have said carbs are being fitted to 1600 zetec

I've seen a few pics of R1 fuel pumps fitted at rear next to the tank,sorry i havnt got them to hamd on my pc but i'm sure someone will
shed some light as usual.

I have mounted mine ,back near the tank and it seems to work fine.

I have fitted my R1 fuel pump near the fuel tank at the back, just slightly below the level of the fuel tank outlet. It has no trouble pumping fuel
upto my R1 carbs which sit on top of my R1 engine.
