help with clutch release

Hi there this is my first post so please go easy on me for being such a duffer...

After taking a sierra into pieces i am in the process of fitting parts of it to my locost resembling chassis.

After fitting the engine and gearbox the clutch release arm no longer releases the clutch.
I know that i must of done something wrong in fitting the clutch and gearbox wrong but was wondering if there was any way of getting it working without taking it apart?
Sorry very long winded and a bit dull. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Check the end of the clutch release arm you can't see is located on the end of the pin in the bellhousing.

Clutch plate wrong way round? (clue: one side of the driven plate will be marked "flywheel" )
