xflow running temp
whats rating switch should i get for my fan dont want to run two cold or to hot my engines a x flow 1700
|

My 1700 runs between 80 and 90 deg C

There was a thred on here which covered a bit more info on it on here...
The main area was 'thermostat' where somone said 82c was not hot enough to evapourate the water condensation build up in the block.. and
.. 90c was a much better value for the block to work at .. i guess 110 - 120c rad.... sooo...
anyone here fill it the correct numbers cause i'd be pleased to know too

Standard water thermostat is either 82 or 88c either will work fine provided you have a by-pass.
Rad fan should switch in around 95c and out around 87c.
With a normal rad cap water boils under pressure in the systen at 110c
Thermostat controls the engine temp, fan the rad temp.
