paul, im copying rwd kurts setup got a set of carbs today and agreed a price with bogg bros but wanted a look at their other work. it looks like it will cost the same as my weber 500 kit did which is now for sale lol

Get written quotes for everything before you leave your car with them. Make sure they ring you if they have any cost incurring dilemmas. I've had a few expensive dealings with Boggs. To be fair, it was when Dave Bogg was at the helm and I don't know if the sons are more switched on!!

fortunately rwd kurt has allready had this conversion done(see v8 build pics in the mk section) so its just a kit im having off them but ive yet to have any trouble dealing with folks oop north

Saw some of their work on eBay a while back (was a set of R1 carbs on a Zetec intake). Wasn't terribly impressed to be honest. Looked rather ropey for the price that it was going for.

Steve Bogg did the blackbird carbs / manifold for my zetec. I never thought they could be that much better than the webers I had. I have only good things to say about the work they did for me.

No doubting the results, but the way it was achieved in the case of the set I looked at made me put my wallet away when I was in the game. Horses for courses though. We've all turned out something that was a bit "friday afternoon" special at point or another no doubt...
