Automatic Clutch system

seriously need help to setup a automatic clutch system thant link with the push button gear changging in a fomula student racing car...Without using a pedal...once the shif-up n down button is push..the clutch automatically engage and dissangage...what i have to use it? linear actuator? solenoid?

Are you talking for a bike engined car? Im sure ive seen some quick shifter kits but cant remember where. Someone will be along soon to advise im sure. Ive never had to look into them as mine is a conventional car engine set up.

well if it is bike engined then you don't need the clutch once on the move anyway, that's how the Klicktronic type shifters work.

My sytem uses an Jumbo servo

it simply pulls the hydro lever...

of the hydro clutch..

offcourse you only need it for first to 2 and downwards..

but i'm sure you guys can program pics to to the jobs..

FSAE...

You only need to cut the ignition for a split second on the up-shifts. And then use the clutch on the way down.

hey ya...ya..i'm doing the bike's engine racing car... i'm using the ccm404 engine...n i have to setup a electromagnetic clutch...like once the button push my clutch part straight away use some electric method to engage the input n output of the shaft without direct mechanical connection.....
