ford zetec heads and blocks

are the cylinder heads and blocks for ford zetec engines interchangeble?

1600/1800 and 2000? (in particular early ones circa mid 90s.

and of less important but still of interest! the later smaller capacity ones? 1.24/1.4?

Don't know myself, but if they're anything like other ford engines you can probably change just about most things over.

1.6 has small bore and 26mm valves. So heads from bigger versions don't fit.

The 1.25 and 1.4 are Zetec se which is a Yamaha designed engine - completely different from the original zetec. The Zetec SE also has a different bellhousing pattern to most other 4 cylinder Ford engines. (As does the Duratec).
