Type 9 input shaft wobble

What are the limits on this?

I reckon I have around 0.75mm (at the furthest point from the bearing) - bearings gone or worse?

there will be some play if the gearbox is seperated from the engine - once the two are connected the spigot bearing in the end of the crank will support the input shaft.

Ned.

beware, I've got yellow skin

I have a gearbox from BGH Geartech that has just had first gear changed. I have about the same movement and they never said there was a problem. They checked everything over when they did the gear change.
