Zetec question
I have a slight oil leak on my '98 Mondeo, I've cleaned it all off and it seems to be coming from a plug/sensor near the bottom of the
block, at the front, close to the gearbox, see pic;

Anyone know what it is ?
Cheers all

Thats the crank position sensor unless I'm mistaken. It just protrudes through to behind the flywheel.
I'll sort a picture of it when I get back form the gaarage tonight

May eb the crank seal leaking and coming through that hole. Sounds strange though i would have thought itd be coming from the bottom aswell.

Damnit, looks like I've not cleaned it as well as I thought I had and left some around the sensor then >;(
I'll give it a few more miles and have another look, it's not a bad leak, just annoying having a drop of oil on the road every time I park
for a few hours...
Thanks all.
