Spark plugs

Choices choices...why is nothing ever simple?

There are 3 possible NGK sparkplugs for the pinto engine:

AP6FS is the std plug
AP7FS is for 'fast road'
AP8FS is for 'rally/race'

Question is should i fit the AP6 or AP7 ones? Will it make any difference at all? Moderately tuned pinto. I know the difference between the plugs is their 'heat'. I know its critical in RC model engines...thats the only reason I ask.

Cheers,
David

I was told in no uncertain terms that the standard spark plug should be used unless something indicates that you need to change.

If your engine is pinking then go to a colder plug; if your plugs are oiling up or fouling then go for a hotter one.

Try
