Exhaust manifold fabrication!

I live in the South West in Bristol and am currently looking for somewhere down here to custom build a manifold for me...

A few questions really...

This is for a bike engine (hence the fat R1 logo below...) and am curious as to people's thoughts on the issue.

I have read a lot of info about this topic and think Rich's write up on his site (http://www.r-one.co.uk/) makes the most sense to me.

So is there really any noticeable difference in power delivery between an equal length 4-1 and an equal length 4-2-1 manifold?

Anyone with experience of both?

And also does anyone know any good exhaust manifold fabricators in the south west!?

Thanks for any help,

Chris.
