power of 2ltr pinto?

does anyone know what sort of power a stad 2ltr pinto will put out with twin 40's and a mild rally spec cam? I say mild rally spec cam as im not sure yet what types there are to put in them!

It really all depends on the condition of the engine, but with twin 40's and a cam I would predict about 140bhp (you are really better with 45's as the 40's will choke the engine if you tune it any more)

dont worry.......bike engine would be done over the winter if i do get the car im gathering info on!

just wanted a conservative figure really, as the guy has rebuilt it with new pistons, rings all cleaned ect....so was wondering what sort of power it would give me for the summers fun. thats better than i thought! i was thinking around 130bhp max?!

140bhp is possibly a little on the high side ... 120-130 is probably more realistic, though as with all these things it depends a lot on who measures it
A standard 2litre pinto will be enough to have some fun with for the summer, especially if its your first sevenesque car.

how about going the bike carbs and megajolt route they give good results......or then again just get a bike engine and put that in!!
