Redtop clutch

Hello,

I have read in the forum about what type of clutch to get for a flat flywheel on a 16V engine when mounting to a type-9. However my flywheel has got a raised surface (2/3mm) on the outer edge for the clutch pressure plate to mount on which I presume make it different?

Do you know what clutch components I need for this type of flywheel?

Cheers

Steve,

I know there are two types of xe flywheel, known as the flat and pot type. No idea what clutch you need or whether it makes a difference though I'm afraid...

Hi steve
The flywheel you've got is a "pot" type and same clutch plate can be used.
Best to get an uprated AP plate or similar from likes of Burton or Yukspeed.
The pot flywheel can also lightened and when done (by an EXPERT) can actually be lighter than a lightened flat type.

p.s. part no. is FP273A (AP Racing)
