suzuki GSXR 600 carbs
Anyone know the choke sizes on these carbs ? i have a feeling they are 36mm from memory but that could be R6 carbs.
Infact if anyone has a list of sizes for the common bike carbs used it would be pretty handy

Cheers
I've got a chance of some 600 carbs at a good price, 38mm i'm told is the smallest i would want on a zetec (1800).
Its all about price really as gsxr 750/1100 or R1 carbs are 3 x the money so the saving will go into the budget for the manifold.

There was an article in PPC that somone on here copied and posted to me so I am quoting from memory the arcitcle.
If lists popular TBs and most 600 cc bike carbs are good for 200 bhp - you need to make quite a few changes before the TB are limiting; standard zetec
is around the 135 bhp mark.
re-read wot u wrote - 1800 - then that'll be even less of an issue (I was referring to 2.0 l Z)

Just found an old copy of PPC which gives me TB's sizes and info but alas no carbs.
Pretty sure a diffinitive list will come along,i'll do some more searching.
As you say the 1800 should be less of an issue in base form,i'm thinking the 600 carbs with 36mm chokes will run the car ok.

36mm is still large , if you had a set of webers you probably would not have a choke size more than 36mm
