Gearbox removal
Just fitting my engine and gear box Zetec st170 enagine + type 9 gearbox. Anyone know if it is possible to get the gearbox out without taking out the
engine. At the mo the gearbox mount is welded in but I need to drop this a bit to get the extension clearance I need. Rather than weld in a new mount
I thought I would bolt a new one in. No good if things are so tight that the box won't come out.

Engine out to get the box out im afraid mate. Iv gotta lower my mount oo. All im going to do is cut my plate out with an air saw from underneath
and make a new one and bolt it in.

Cut my mounting plate when I lowered my rear mount, dropped it by 10mm which did the job
