zetec query

After a lot of reading i have decided to go the zetec route (pre 95 1.8).

More than likely I will go to a scrapyard to source the engine and was wondering what else I would need from the donor

thanks in advance

Get an escort engine so you get the right water pump and shallower sump.

Coil and plug leads and all sensors especially the crank if you gonna run after market ign.

Most yards will chuck in the inlet manifold and alternator. The inlet manifold you will probably chuck away but always useful for learning how Ford fuel the engine. Keep the coil and leads and if poss get any sensor plugs you can.
