IIRC about 45mm generating a clearance of 100mm depending upon who's in it
Chassis is therefore 145mm from ground...

Sump is 1.75" below chassis.
Chassis height is 5.5" at front and 6.25" at rear without anyone sitting in it.
Clears speed bumps OK.

You read the posts wrong most people, inc me, have 4" or 100mm under sump. earlier posts gave chassis to ground and sump below chassis
measurements so they average 4"
4" didn't stop me banging in the sump so hard on a 'sleeping policeman' that the sump plug was half pulled out on one side.

lol yer i ment ground clearance from the chassis to the ground just didn't word it very well... so 2" max to allow for 4" or so of
clearance

Suggest you also consider engine height in terms of how close it will come to the underside of the bonnet. Otherwise you may find you are adding power
bulges to accomodate the rocker/cam box cover. Cheers, Pewe
