oil pick up pipe

i am struggling modifying my pick up pipe how did anyone else do theres?

What are you struggling with? If it was getting it off, you ideally need to get a mate with an oxy torch and heat it up and it will just twist off, chop it of near to the bend if I remember right, measure the height of the oil inlet gauze thing and use plasicene in the bottom of the sump and test fit and work out how close it will be to the bottom, don't forget to add in the thickness of the sump gasket. Don't get the gause stuff too hoot it breaks dead easy, don't ask how I know that!

i got it off no problem cut to lenght ,but when you come to put the end back on it wont go back on straight because of the bend.
