Carbs & Injection

If a motorbike (Yamaha R1) is fuel injected, would you normally expect to be able to take a set of carbouterrors off it.

Theres a set on ebay at the mo which apparently are "the carbs are fuel injection (black frame model) ......." which doesnt sound right to me

Maybe he's just got the wrong name for throttle bodies - called them carbs by mistake.

Hi Jos

Are you looking for a set of R1 carbs? I've got a good set with airbox and mounting rubbers going begging. I bought both carbs and tb's and went the fi route in the end.
