Markings on commonly available hose (halfords etc) saying "fuel hose" is OK. Beware of getting anonymous braided hose at shows etc, you'll be asked for proof of its suitability.
Same goes for brake hoses

most fuel hoses you get come with a fuel hose marking, if you get any fancy stuff, like braided hosing or coloured cotton braided hoses, from demon tweeks etc when you order do it on the pphone and not on the internet, that way you can say to them

'make sure you send me a bit that has got the fuel hose spec on it'

most SVA man are happy if you take a reciept in that has got fuel hose on it, i think?

hope this helps

Alex
