1.8 Zetecs
OK, I know I haven't even got my SVA date yet, but I'm thinking ahead.
Does anyone know what the difference is betweeen the 105, 115 and 130Hp 1.8 Zetecs.
Is it just the injection system or are the cams / heads different?
Thanks
Stu

Cams and the ECU. I believe the heads/valves etc are the same.

The throttle body is definately larger on the 130PS engines, and I think the inlet manifold may be different as well.

The main difference is the cams.
Lift
Exhaust
115 = 15.6mm
130 = 16.6mm
Inlet
115 = 15.3
130 = 17.3
The durations are different as well but I never got round to measuring those

I believe the 130bhp engines have oil jets fitted to spray the underside of the pistons aswell.

The 130 uses the same cams as the standard 2.0l Zetec
