Fireblade Motor

Hope that some one can help out here.
The college that I teach at is due to recieve an MK indyblade kit next week. This kit will include everything needed for the build.

As an extension of the build I would like to get hold of a blade engine for strip and inspection workshop packages. The engine does not have to be a runner, or possibly a 600 might be the same?

Also I could do with getting hold of an electronic overhaul manual if such a thing is available.

I did have a number for an engine supplier in Worcester but lost it "DOH".

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Two to Four

Engine supplier is in Evesham, Worcs.

Number is apparently 01386 881283.

However, I've called them on NUMEROUS occasions and they've never answered.

Alternatively, send a U2U message to Moorron on here. He MAY have a spare CBR1000 engine that you could have relatively cheap.

Manuals on a CD are available on ebay for a couple of quid.

Give Andy Bates at AB Performance a call (01284 703101), pretty much all he does is rebuild Fireblades so might have a non runner or something laying around that he'd let go cheaply, and may be able to offer advice on manuals etc.

Having said that though, the problem is some of the internals like gearboxes command a high price (~£200 for a gearbox) as spares so you're unlikely to pick one up cheap that hasnt already been partially dismantled to scavenge parts.

For an electronic manual, see www.fiche-man.com.

His stuff is top-notch!
