EDIS Unit location

Hi Folks

Can anyone help? I need the wiring plug of a Ford EDIS unit for my lococst build. Howwever I have no idea where the EDIS unit is located on a Ford and what model of Ford they where fitted to.

Can anyone help with this information?

Best bet is a MK1 Mondeo auto, they're mounted on the bulkhead and protected from water and mud and are usually quite clean

Or on the near side wing behind the head light on Escort/Orion/Fiesta's.

As Above Automatic Mondeo bits will be in better condition.
