r1 clutch
hi,
can anyone tell me where i can get uprated clutch springs for 2003 fuel injected r1.. and any easy ways of getting large nut off to get plate out ???
fighting with scafolding pole at minute

barnett spring conversion from fluke motorsport-works a treat easy to install-will still slip a bit till its properly warmed up(at least it does on my
5pw)

You don't need to take the big nut off to get the clutch plates out. I'm told an impact wrench will do it for you if you want to get it
off.
I have a barnett clutch conversion. Easy to fit. I have no problems with it at all, except that I had to put a washer under the top hat thing to
stop clutch slip. Maybe I need bigger springs.
Some people suggest puting 2 clutch springs on. In which case, you can get one from your nearest Yamaha dealer.
