racetech mechanical guages
Hi chaps,
trying to fit racetech michanical oil temp / pressure guage and water temp guage
to a silver top zetec.
anyone done this?
looks like the oil temp sensor should scre into the oil sump, replacing the sump plug, but the sensor screw is too big,
also no idea where to fit the oil pressure sensor ( think with a mech guage it will just be a pipe to screw into the block?)
also best place to fit the water twmp sensor?
standard silver top zetec, bike carbs,
polo rad

DO NOT REPLACE SUMP PLUG.
there will be an oil pressure switch currently on the block- not sure exact location, but probably near oil filter. remove this, fit adapter, fit
T-piece and then screw temp and pressure senders into this.

Hi,
thanks, just found the pressure sender hole. t piece and pipe ordered.
lastly, water temp sender is 3/8th thread,
seems to fit into the zetec thermostat housing, however the original is tapered,
is it vital to get a tapered fitting for the new sender?
