Hose abrasion

I've noticed that one of my water hoses rubs slightly on the underside of the bonnet. I don't have the option of moving it, so is there anything I can cover it with to protect it?

thanks

It's a silicone hose so I don't think anything will stick to it too well, but I'm sure I have another piece of hose spare a can attach to it somehow.

thanks

Gaffer tape

on the underneath of the bonnet

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I have a 90deg bend that runs close to the block. I got an offcut of silicon hose, split it, wrapped around the hose i needed to protect and secured with a couple of tie wraps. Jobs a good one.

This is std procedure in industrial applications as a preventative maintenance technique when total countermeasure cannot be found.

thanks people you've given me some ideas. Time to have a dig around in the garage for something suitable.
