Pinto inlet manifold - pipes needed?
ello, just about to order my Pinto manifold from Bogg Bros. I am fitting zx9r carbs on to them (or rather they are!).
I need to let them know if I need a servo output or a water outlet.
As I am not running a servo I guess the servo outlet is a no.
Do I need the water outlet (the one in the middle of the manifold)? Where does it go to ?
Cheers in advance, andy

yes you'll need the water pipe in the middle of the manifold or you'll be forever boiling it up due to poor waterflow.
i do believe it goes straight to the waterpump.
built a car, built a home, had a family. lost the family, lost the home, still got the car.

This is the outlet that presumably comes out of the cylinder head?

The outlet on the inlet manifold goes to the heater matrix. You dont need one at all. Mines blocked off.

If it doesn't cost any more you could have it put on and blank it off yourself... just incase you should ever want a heater.
If your not going for mega lightweight (*insert pinto jokes*)
Then you may choose the luxury one day for those chilly summer evenings on the way home!

oooo shiney. I think I will get them to put it on and blank it off if I dont use it.
I am assuming I can put a piece of pipe on it and block this off. Will this work?

Probibly best to plumb it in (even if you don't have a heater)
but if you did want to blank it a very short bit of hose with a plug in one end and a couple of hose clips should do the trick
