1800 zetec/2.0L cams

hi all

fitting a 1.8 black top, will be putting 2.0l cams in it (from a black top)

it has solid buckets, will i need to change them with the 2litre ones of will it be ok or should i fit hydraulic tappets?

Normally just changing the cams is enough, but its up to you, whatever goes together easiest I would imagine.

The blacktop won't do hydraulic buckets. When changing cams you should swop over the solid followers that go with the cams and keep them in order.

Slightly off topic, what difference do the 2.0 cams make to power output on the 1.8?
