evpected power gains
just wondering what should the expected bhp gains be after fitting twin carbs and piper270 cam to a 1800 cc ??? engine roughly 105 bhp at minute

The B series in the MGB only had about 92bhp with twin carbs, and the Marina only about 72bhp with the single carb.
What has already been done to yours to get it up to 105bhp? Is the head standard?

surely cheaper to get a 2ltr 8v engine out of a cav sri (130bhp) you could then put the webers on that, bound to be more cost effective than messing
with the 1.8 to start with. 2ltr 8v 130bhp is 20seh engine code iirc and should be a straight swap. Otherwise fit an xe
