mundeo zetec?

got a 1.8 silvertop from a 93 mundeo, but bit confused now some people say i've got to change the waterpump, so can i get the waterpump from a escort zetec.

also have i got to change the flywheel? thought the 1.8 flywheel was the 1 to use?


can someone give me true answer

you already have an 1800 flywheel,fine.
if you have PAS on the mundano the pump will spin the wrong way so you will need an escort pump and pulley

Is the pulley on the water pump grooved or smooth? If the latter then you'll want to swap it...

Other good bit maybe is that you already have the correct clutchcover and plate (23 spline), this is where the escort zetecs need changes (17 spline), so if the clutch is in good shape.


Other bad thing though is the sump, you'll need a escort zetec sump or a custom/modified one.
