crossflow carb nuts

Does anyone happen to know what the thread size is for the nuts that hold the weber to the inlet manifold on a kent 1600 engine?

I reckon 5/16 unf, dont think they had gone to 8mm that long ago,

^^^ wot he says. 5/16 UNF at the nut end and 5/16 UNC in the manifold. same for the cylinder head.


oh, and if anytone know where you can get the studs cheap, please let me know.

incidentally, anyone know why there are different part numbers listed for the exhaust and inlet studs and different to the manifold studs? surely one size will fit them all?

They are different lengths, can't remember off the top of my head which ones are longer though

How cheap is cheap? Burton list the inlet manifold studs for 59p each inc vat.
