Pinto Shortened Sump
Has anyone got Mark Allansons .pdf for his pinto sump mods.
I did have it but can't find it and the original thread link seems to be dead.
Also as my brother is a plumber would a soldered joint be OK for the shortened pick-up pipe rather than brazing?
Cheers

Hi,
I did have a copy of marks pdf but buggered if i can find it on my computer
As for the pick up pipe, i silver soldered mine together with some silver solder 'borrowed' from work. Doesnt need as much heat as brazing
(~600deg instead of 800+), so is doable with a couple of blowtorches, but better than soft soldering which melts at ~200 deg IIRC depending on the
alloy.

You only have to ask
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
