Bike carbs

Hi all my car is in need of a mot this year and i just wondered if any one had trouble getting bike carbs on a pinto through the test [ MOT ]

Carbs and fuel injection only supply fuel and air, mot will require you to meet the emissions as stated on the MAC or V5. So if you fail you will need to lean off the mixture to achive the correct CO2 emissions for a pass.

2.0L on bike carbs then you have a generous emmisons window and could easily lean it off for the MOT. I would go for the MOT and see what happens. No point in playing with the carbs before you know if you have passed or not.
