Blackbird clocks

Hi all
Can anyone tell me the requirement for sva regarding the positioning of the clocks on the dash do they need to be a certain distance from steering wheel and are the edges soft enough ect.

also can you use an indicater switch fastened to the dash.

regards mick pratting about in the sun with my rivet gun.

Have a look in the SVA manual but they have to be reasonably visible. If behindthe steering wheel or in an area up to 127mm outside the edge of the steering wheel, the normal radius rules don't apply - I thnk its called the "exempt area". If outside that area, then you need to comply with the radius rules.

Re indicatgor switch on the dash - yes, that's OK, subject to the radius rules or exemption as above.
