Cologne V6 Spigot Bearing Fitting - HELP!!!
Please help me!!
So I have a 2.8i Cologne V6 from a Granada Auto and I want to attach a 5 Speed Manual Box on it.
I have a 5 Speed Box, Bell housing, Clutch and flywheel from a 2.8i Capri.
I also have the spigot bearing which I purchased from a Bearing Specialist, and the Adaptor Plate (metal gasket thing) from ford.
Now all I need to do is to know how to put it all together!!!!
Please can anyone tell me where to put the spigot bearing and how to do it?
Polite answers only please!
Also any tips on cleaning 20 years of grime of the box/bell housing?
Thanks

the spigot bearing goes in the hole in rear of the crank, use a socket to knock it in gently and only as far as to be level with the end of the crank
