What are people using for the clutch slave cylinder in Blackbird engined BECs?
I have a propshaft adaptor from Attitude Roadsters and have tried modifying the original slave cylinder and hosing as per the Hayabusa, but it seems
as though the propshaft will still go though the edge of the slave cylinder
On my engine VFR the slave cilinders at the same high mounted as the sprocket, but
Regards,
Tks
The other issue with the std slave cylinder is that the union for the hydraulic hose is on the same side as the sprocket, thereby getting in the way. As the bolt pattern is asymmetric, I can't rotate the cylinder if I'm using the standard housing.
I have a kit from westfield on my engine, std girling type cyl with some triagulated mounts
I've seen pictures of the Westfield setup - any idea what cylinder they use?
The other issue is that I will be using a hand operated clutch - I have a rear brake master cylinder from a Kawasaki ZX12 to use as the brake master
cylinder, so the size of the slave cylinder does get important. Don't want a heavy clutch and I believe that too much travel at the clutch end is
a 'bad thing''
