Standard Ford MT75 Gear lever mechanism
spegru - 2/7/14 at 09:18 AM

Hi I need a standard Ford MT75 gear lever extension. The frame bit that is bolted onto the back of the gearbox itself.

The one I've got is from a Transit and it's way too short so I think I need one from a Sierra.

Anyone got one spare?

Thanks

OK so I got (most of) one of the extension mechanisms but I still need a small widget to connect it all

The Transit mechanism connected the gearlever almost directly to the gear change shaft, via a swivel cup that is bolted directly onto the gearchange shaft
Since I've now removed the transit style system I need the sierra-style coupling that connects the lever actuator to the gear change shaft.

The only problem for me is that I've never seen one so I cant describe it but I estimate that it can must be a hollow tube about an inch long!

Can anyone help?

Correction. I've just found a picture of the bit I'm looking for from ebay and it's not tubular
More like square really

They are a bit thin on the ground. But you don't need it either.

just make up a remote gear linkage like the westfield one.
