MT75 Gearbox Mount

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where you can get an uprated Gearbox mount for the mt75 Sierra?

I thought they were the same too - so assuming you've got this type at the moment:


you could try one of these as a starting point:


thats the 4spd type as used by westfield and caterham (weirdly caterham are one of the cheapest places to get them )
the are a bit smaller than the 5spd ones, so you'll need to do a little work to make it fit

I can give you sizes for either type if you need them...

Westfield use two bobbin type mounts with sleeved nuts to attach to the gearbox.

burton power do them, about 70 pounds, but very strong!

done some quick measurements just now give or take 0.5 of a mm

5 spd mount: 142mm ctr to ctr



4 spd mount: 94mm ctr to ctr
(upside down in pic)


its also worth noting the 4 speed mount is slightly taller ~18.5mm from the bottom to the top of flat in the middle
(i.e. 4.5mm higher than the 5 speed one)
