Goodwood FoS

Is anyone going to the Festival of Speed?
My girlfriend exhibited a rare and beautiful moment of interest in cars by buying us weekend tickets and camping on site for my birthday!

Me and the other half will be there on sunday

You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

Apologies, but can someone tell me what the sketch is with camping at Goodwood please? Some say camping is four miles away, someone else has said you can camp close to the house. A few of us will be going next year and want to do the weekend, obviously having a few shandies on the Sat night. (A four mile walk while p!ssed up in the dark is not good, hence the problem.) Cheers.

If you phone and book your tickets you can also book camping on the goodwwod estate, but beware it is a tad expensive and they only let you camp if you are booking entrance tickets for the whole weekend fri/sat/sun.

I did camp there a few years back and must say its probably worth it,you can get to see the whole show at your own pace as its big.

Its nice to be right on site with only a few hundred metres downhill walk to get into the show.

The only downside is no immediate shops or pub so you need to travel to get provisions or eat out, although friday night is good as there is a horse race meeting and the track is about a mile up the road.

All in all i found the people at the camp site very friendly and i emjoyed my stay.may well make a weekend visit another year.
