I'm up for it. The L7CGB meets at the Gate at Bratton which is as close to me as the bear is to Ox but I'll have to check whether its open on a sunday and Ox & shed had difficulties getting over the speed hump on the entrance to the car park last time they came down & I think I'll be in the same boat when I try, so maybe thats not such a good idea.

Theres a couple of other pubs close to me that may be suitable but to be honest I'd rather have a decent run, ie go back to hodnet, so that the engine has a chance to warm up. Having the venue close to me could be an excuse for a scenic route blat however.......... HHHhhhhhmmmmmmmm

No speed bumps and a decent short blat route with a mini roundabout at the end (perfect for a newbie blat with a donut! - oh and it wont cost OX too much in fuel to take someone for a spin!)

And the car broke while out on a quick blat today - one of the thermostat housing outlets broke off causing an unexpected engine bay steam clean, then while limping back to base the fuel pump quit with about 100 yards to go.

And to make matters worse i just drove past the pub and its all shut up, asked at the post office and they closed it yesterday to start re decorating!

Jos, My car is a chassis with bits hanging off it at the moment!

Next week? - pub wont be open then either or so im lead to believe.
