I see the Dominator TS400 project is for sale on e bay, you would think after the glowing show it made on Kit Car Crisis, sales would be going through the roof (not)

what no mention of its telly fame mind you i dont knowhow much of the failure was down to the manufacturing or the numpty putting it together i said as i watched it thats a lot of holes in the main rails. dont know how true this is but some on told me the whole frame collapsed after the show

I think on the show the diff carrier was choppd about in some way and collapsed.

However, that's a half decent price for the full setup and with a bit of development any issues can be ironed out.

If it's only been driven round the car park how does he know it does 0 to 60 in 3.2 secs.

Must be some car park !!

Sorry for being thick here, but can someone remind me of the heritage of this project?

Was this a development of the MK GT1?

The MK GT2 became the Spire Cars one didn't it?

Cheers

Mike

Hi,

The dominator was a very very very loose copy of the GT1. with probably the only interchangeable bits been the bodywork.

A GT1 was purchased by Mr X whom later started production of the Dominator, heard a similar story to this before before ?

Mr X is also the person selling the said car on ebay.

£10k for an Dominator, or £9k for a GT1?

wasn't that MK up for £16k a few months back??

mad-butcher - 17/12/08 at 07:26 PM

could be worth a gamble, if you could enlist the help of martin to get the chassis anything like reasonable and still be capable of using the bodywork moulds.
The thing that puts me off a spire is that he has changed the design to incorporate a sierra diff not the original chain drive
