Nice one.

Do you have to have the two lads sat on the back at all times??

Was it just a power run, or did they change jets / settings?

Mike

Abit cheeky, but do you mind me asking what sort of power that your car is throwing out? Also, how much did the zx9r engine cost you to get it running in your car?
Cheers Jas Gray

I need to get mine on a rolling road. It would be nice to know how you got that 166bhp out of the engine.

I'm never outta mine TBH mate needs new tyres all round now lol! Took it too my local RR mate that i always use and every result has been bang on, just given motor a full service carbs balanced new filter and thats it, will be having some modified jets fitted soon to bring the AFR's down around 8500-10,000 rpm as they are creeping into the high 13's

fixed loads issues with bolts working loose and not having lock-tight on them especially the diff carrier bolts
got a LSD diff on the way so the car will get off line better

yep it came out at 135.8@ wheels and 166bhp@flywheel, its a 2001 E motor and my engine tuner says the Carbs have been altered as they aren't the original E carbs (something about having different tops on them)

all i know from speaking to Aries Motorsport & AP is that the engine 99% certain it was a spare 0 miles race motor thats used in the locost series? and then sold on privately

it feels quick but nothing to compare it too as no one else locally has a BEC thats on the road lol!

I know theses engine are normally around 135@flywheel and just over 105bhp@wheels so defo not standard
but while it continues to perfrom faultlessly i ain't fiddling with it
