Hey guys,
Well my bike engined mini project of 3 years is almost finished with the paint job 90% complete,
and the rebuild already underway. Please take a look at my latest photos to see what was involved
in creating the retro Yamaha look in paint; I am uber pleased with the result so far and can't wait to finish her
now!

Thats one very tidy garage/workshop you have. I wish I had that much space.
Have you thought about a beam axle for the rear? I installed one to my old mini that i eventually sold, and i could pick the back end up. The subframe is soooooo heavy.
That's fantastic... love the 'speed-block' detail!
Cool tool!

Its given me a good idea for the paintjob on my shotblasted alloys now for the kitcar too, yellow rim is nice.
Well done that man !
Hey guys,
Finally finished my 'R1 Manx', bike engined mini project...only cost me 3 years, 12 grand and 2 girlfriends but was well worth the end
result even
if it is a bit of handful to drive! The geometry still needs properly setting up though so i'm not too concerned yet and just the fact our
home
brew build works and pulls under it's own steam is a great feeling in itself. Want to thank all the users on here who either gave me great
advice on the build, sold me parts at a very reasonable price, and most of all offered plenty of encouragement along the way as that means a
lot! Please check out my photo diary which is up to date with the latest pics:

WOW
That is beautiful.
That said I wouldn't expect anything else from someone of your pedigree
Well done,
Mike
Awesome! I'm a huge mini fan anyway, but the attention to detail on this project looks excellent! A really really nice build, well done.
