ThinkAuto contact (oil filter sandwich plate)
JoaoCaldeira - 8/5/06 at 09:20 AM

Hi all.

I've been trying to contact ThinkAuto both by phone and fax with the contacts they have in their webpage, but the line is always busy.

Are these contacts correct?
Tel. +44 0208 568 1172
Fax +44 0208 847 5338

Does anyone else sells
this?

Thanks,
Joao

I've just bought a TRL7 vent off them (10 minutes ago), got the number from their website.

Think auto do oil filter sandwich plate for a lot of vehicles; the briaded hoses is far far too small for an oil cooler installation so makes me ask what exactly is it?

what engine is it off?
does it noeed to be anodised? (it's not like it is going to be visible?)

Hi.

It's a take off to pressure and temperature sensors to be fitted into a R1.
It won't be visible at all (under exhaust manifold)

Joao,

Chris at MNR has made me up a sensor adaptor to plumb into the oil gallery on the 2003 R1.

It didn't cost alot either.

is that remote mounted or straight into the head? several people tried the straight into the head approach and killed alot of sensors with vibrations.

Mine is straight into the head, but it's a mechanical gauge.

Even if you had an electrical one, it would be easy to take the 1/8 npt output on the adapter to the remotely mounted sensor.
