is there a oil seal on or around the selector on a reverse gearbox? mine looks all wet.

If its a quaife then thats probably just oil thrown out of the breather.

oh right. BUt the car hasnt been driven in 6 months?

Where do u top it up?

the fillers on the side (one on each [see my archive]) and difficult to get to once fitted in the tunnel. I cut an access hole in my tunnel and made a cover for it so i can top it up. On the plus side it should keep the tin worm away .

The Quaife box ejects oil with gay abandon... best to fit a breather pipe and catch tank on it really..

It only takes a little oil to fill it, and you should use the quaife oil, even though its very expensive.
