Don't know if this is much help but the manual says it's a 5JJ NIPPON THERMOSTAT.

Could be of some help. I'll pass it on, thanks. Seems he was looking at a 99 schematic so i've pointed him in the direction of the 2001 diagram and will hopefully get the right one. Still as re assurance a part no. would be great.
